About the project
A field guide, written by the people walking the field
Decor Map is a community-verified map of decor locations for Pikmin Bloom players. It exists because finding specific decor is a real-world activity — walking streets, checking shopfronts, coming back a week later — and real-world knowledge goes stale. Databases that pretend otherwise waste people's time.
So this project is built around one principle: show the evidence. Every location on this map is somewhere a player actually found decor and said so. Nothing is inferred from what happens to be nearby — we do not put a pin down because there is a restaurant there. Each location carries a plain verification state derived from immutable community observations — a community report from one person, independently confirmed by two or more, strongly confirmed when several agree recently — and conflicting or old reports are surfaced as disputed or stale. There are no probability scores invented to look scientific, no percentages, no confidence bands. Contributors' reports are never overwritten, only superseded by newer observations.
The feature we care most about is the Pure Spot: a location where players have reported that the in-game Detector shows only one decor category, so you can go after the decor you actually need instead of gambling across several. A Pure Spot is only ever established by players reporting what their Detector showed — never by us guessing from the shops on the street.
What it is not
- Not an official product — see our name and affiliation notice.
- Not connected to game accounts, game servers, or any in-game data extraction.
- Not a scraper of other community databases or social networks.
- Not a navigation product — planned routes are ordered walking suggestions, not turn-by-turn guidance.
How the data works
Contributors submit observations: what they found, where, and when. A backend trust engine — never the client — derives each location's public state from those observations. Anonymous drive-by voting is deliberately not a trust mechanism; standing is earned through verifiable contribution history.
Get involved
Browse the map, and when you are out in the field, report what you actually see — including when a listed spot is gone. Negative observations are as valuable as positive ones. Please read the contribution rules first.
